About Me
Since I was a teenager, I've been passionate about technology. Back then, that meant running online gaming communities, managing servers and forums, and constantly tinkering with whatever I could get my hands on. Today, it means developing intelligent applications and AI-powered solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.
What I enjoy most is taking an idea and turning it into a system people actually enjoy using. To me, the human side of technology is just as important as the technology itself. Good systems should reinforce relationships, remove friction, and give people more time to focus on the stuff that matters. And if people are going to spend time in a system every day, it should feel good to use.
How I Got Here
You might be wondering how a guy with a bachelor's degree in Persian-Farsi and a background in intelligence ended up building business systems.
I joined the Air Force in 2017 as a linguist and moved to Monterey, California, to study Persian-Farsi at the Defense Language Institute. After graduating, I spent my first enlistment supporting cyber operations as a cryptologic language analyst and later as a cyber intelligence analyst supporting joint operations with the Marines.
By the end of that enlistment, I planned to leave the Air Force and pursue Computer Science. Instead, I was given the opportunity to return to the Defense Language Institute, finish my bachelor's degree, and come back to where my career started as an instructor. It was too good an opportunity to pass up.
During my tenure as an instructor, I kept gravitating toward technology. I completed a master's degree in Information Technology at Florida Tech and started building tools to solve problems around me: automating manual processes, improving how teams managed information, and creating systems that made day-to-day work easier for our teams.
That was where things clicked for me and where I wanted to take my career: the space between the business problem, the human experience, and the technical implementation: understanding how people work, designing a better system, and then actually building it.
Outside Work
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, PC gaming, and finding new technology to tinker with. I'm engaged to my partner, Andres, and we have two dogs: Atlas, a 2-year-old Dachshund, and Artemis, a 7-year-old rescue whose breed is your guess as much as ours. We're both excited to see where the next chapter of life takes us.
